Students will work on mastering basic ballet moves such as galloping, skipping, courtesy bows, ballerina runs, classical walks and it incorporates more port de bras (work of the arm movement). Lots of imagery, fun and creative movement is present in this class.

Classical Ballet

Our Ballet classes follow the highly reputable bbodance syllabus. The bbodance syllabus introduces students to the foundations of ballet vocabulary needed to develop strong technique via the movement principles of this genre: accurate footwork, coordination of limbs, graceful elevation, and precise turns.

A typical ballet class is divided into two sections: Barre and Centre, consisting of Adage, Pirouettes and Allegro. Ballet is a highly technical class which teaches work ethic, perseverance, dedication, motivation, stamina, flexibility, and strength.
